Woy Woy Little Theatre is a Non Profit amateur drama group.
Our aim is to bring a diverse program of plays to the
community to suit all ages. Woy Woy Little Theatre also aims
to encourage and provide education for youth, in all facets of
theatrical production.
Established
in 1962, and run by a passionate group of actors
and theatre lovers, Woy Woy Little Theatre is committed to
performing 3-4 plays per year and operates from the Peninsula
Theatre, corner of McMasters Rd. and Ocean Beach Rd. Woy Woy.
This is a purpose built theatre space, the only one of its
kind on the Central Coast.
A hearing loop has also been recently
installed for the hearing impaired.

TRY
BEFORE YOU BUY
You don’t
have to be a member to come to our monthly play readings; you
can just sit and listen or have a turn at reading a play for
possible inclusion in our subscription series. These play
readings are the last Monday of each month in the Community
Access Room at Woy Woy Primary School – Park Road – at 7.30pm.
We hold open
auditions for upcoming plays with our ads placed in the
Central Coast Express Advocate, as well as our members’
newsletter – everyone is welcome to attend.
When
production time is near we hold working bees, where a
dedicated group of members help to construct, paint, sew, or
whatever needs to be done to get the set to stage.
Next on the
list is the “bump in” where we put the set in place on stage
at the Peninsula Theatre. This is a full week-ends work and
many hands make light work. Everybody has some unique talent
that they can offer, so why not get involved – we are a
friendly bunch - we also provide delicious lunches for our
volunteers.
Give us a
ring (it’s so much more personal) so we can advise you of
future events.
